What is the Registration Process?

We hold "Open Houses" for interested parents to come by and look at the centre, chat with the Director and possibly other staff members, board members. At that time you can ask questions, obtain a copy of our application form. Applications can be filled out and returned with a $25 non-refundable fee to put your child on the waitlist. As spaces come available, parents will be contacted in sequence.

How Long is the Waitlist?

The list fluctuates with demand, but at this time, the wait time is approximately one year.

What Parent Participation is expected?

Parents are expected to bring children on time to school and dressed for the day.
Sick children are required to stay away from school.
As we are a non-profit with volunteer board members, Parents are asked to participate in fundraising activites, volunteering expertise, assistance with yard cleanup and other minor maintenance assistance.

Are you planning to expand?

The current board are investigating the feasibility to create preschool spaces. Parents are encouraged to attend an Open House to obtain further information.

What is Waldorf education like?

This would result in a long response, therefore it would be better to obtain information at our Open Houses, from the Victoria Waldorf Society, from Sunrise Waldorf School (in Duncan) and/or from www.whywaldorfworks.org
